Descallar's love for teaching and passion for sharing Filipino culture have always been at the core of her advocacy.

"Though I am no longer in the classroom, I remain committed to inspiring teachers by sharing my journey," the 59-year-old president of Starland International School shared during the show's media conference.

More than just an educational program, "Filipino at Heart" fosters a deeper connection to cultural roots, encouraging younger generations to embrace their heritage. At the same time, it serves as a platform to promote Filipino values on a global stage, bridging cultural understanding beyond borders.
