Abalos, Reyes, Manalo to grace billiards tourney

Mandaluyong City councilor Charisse Abalos and billiards champions Efren "Bata" Reyes and Marlon Manalo will be the guest of honor at the opening ceremony of the Sangguniang Kabataan Hagdan Bato Libis Billiards Tournament on May 4, 2025 at the Magician Billiards Elite-Shaw in Mandaluyong City.

Abalos, daughter of senatorial candidate Benhur Abalos, will deliver an inspirational speech to jumpstart the 10-ball tournament which is part of Sports League 2025. She will also make the ceremonial lag together with Hall of Famer Efren "Bata" Reyes and international billiards and snooker champion Marlon Manalo.

Reyes is widely regarded as one of the greatest billiards player of all time with over 100 international titles while Manalo is a gold medalist in the Southeast Asian Games.

Both of them are also chess enthusiasts.

The tournament is open to all residents of Hagdan Bato Libis. Residents can register through the SK Facebook page or can approach any SK official.
