BPI lowers InstaPay transfer fee to P10

MANILA, Philippines — Ayala-led Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) is making digital transactions more accessible and cost-effective by lowering its InstaPay interbank fund transfer (IBFT) fee.
From March 7 to May 31, 2025, customers will enjoy a reduced fee of just P10 per transaction, down from the previous P25 charge.
"By lowering the fee, BPI aims to make fund transfers even more accessible and cost-effective, encouraging more customers to embrace the ease and convenience of digital banking," the BPI said in a statement.
To further improve customer experience, BPI also integrated InstaPay with leading e-wallet platforms such as GCash and Maya. This integration allows users to transfer funds instantly, 24/7, across different banking and financial platforms, ensuring smooth and efficient transactions.
To recall, BPI disabled the "load e-wallet" on its mobile banking app which started last month. GCash and Maya accounts can use the Instapay and PESOnet interbank funds transfer facility.
From banks, users can choose "G-Xchange/Gcash" for Gcash transfer, and "Maya Philippines Inc/Maya Wallet" for the transfer of funds to Maya, both of which have a P25 charge.
