Creamline sweeps Al Naser to start AVC Champions League campaign

MANILA, Philippines — Determined to bounce back from its PVL All-Filipino Conference finals heartbreak just last week, Creamline swept Al Naser, 29-27, 25-20, 25-19, to kickstart their campaign at the AVC Women's Champions League at the PhilSports Arena on Sunday.
Returning import Erica Staunton and Alyssa Valdez joined hands as they delivered 17 and 10 points, respectively, in the win that put the Cool Smashers at the top of Pool A.
Their efforts made life a little easier for their new imports Nastiya Kolomoyets and Ana Kudryashova who didn't have to go full swing in their Creamline debut, scoring nine and eight points, respectively.
Ilisandra Pully paced Al Naser of Jordan with a match-high 19 points.
