Expressway Launches Galway to Shannon Airport Summer Bus Service

Expressway is launching its summer X51 service from Galway to Shannon Airport commencing on Sunday 27 April. This is a significant boost for Galway passengers flying to and from Shannon Airport and tickets can be booked in advance online at expressway.ie.
The Galway-Shannon Airport X51 service will comprise of four daily departures each way with services linking key flight arrival and departure times at Shannon Airport, including customers travelling on transatlantic morning flights. This summer service compliments the 14 daily return services on the Expressway Route 51.
The X51 service will deliver hundreds of additional seats to and from Shannon Airport daily, providing excellent connectivity between the Galway and the Atlantic seaboard’s busiest airport – with its expanding international network of services to 36 destinations across 11 countries including mainland Europe, the United Kingdom and the USA.
The X51 Expressway service will operate non-stop from Galway Bus Station to Shannon Airport departing at 00:00, 02:45, 05:45 and 21:00.
Return services from Shannon Airport to Galway city will operate at 01:15, 04:15, 07:15 and 22:30. With online adult fares starting from €9.95 for Galway to Shannon Airport, we would advise all customers to book ahead at expressway.ie to avoid disappointment and guarantee a seat on their preferred service.
