Greenies, Junior Altas go for all the marbles

La Salle Greenhills (LSGH) and University of Perpetual Help System will clash for one last time in the NCAA Season 100 juniors basketball tournament on Tuesday, April 15 at the Filoil EcoOil Centre in San Juan.

At stake is the much-coveted championship, the second for the Greenies in the league and the first ever for the Junior Altas.

The Junior Altas took Game One, 100-96, but the Greenies equalized the series with a 95-91 victory in Game Two.

On spotlight in Game Three are season Most Valuable Player winner Lebron James Daep of Perpetual Help and Guilllan Quines, who collected 35 points, 11 rebounds, four assists and five steals for LSGH in Game Two. They are both expected to carry their teams to victory.

Joining Daep in the Mythical Five selection are Sanlea Penaverde of San Sebastian, Jhuniel Dela Rama of Letran, EJ Castillo of Emilio Aguinaldo College and Jan Roluna of Perpetual Help.

Daep was also named to the league's Defensive Team along with Sean Franco of Arellano University, Jhuniel Dela Rama of Letran, Sanlea Penaverde of San Sebastian and Allan Launenaria of Mapua.

Jericho Cristino of Perpetual Help was named Most Improved Player.
