I LOVE NY Brings 1920s Glamour to Dublin with New York State Promotional Evening

ITTN’s Sharon Jordan was a guest of New York State’s Division of Tourism, which brought a touch of 1920s glamour to Dublin to mark the 100th anniversary of the publication of F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby.
Led by I LOVE NY Executive Director Ross Levi, the delegation included representatives from New York’s Backyard, Discover Long Island and Wine Water & Wonders.
Mr Levi commented: “We’re delighted to highlight the many attractions to be found across New York State, thus encouraging visitors to explore beyond the Big Apple.
“2025 is an exciting year: beyond the Gatsby centennial, we are commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Erie Canal – which created the powerhouse that became modern day New York. We are looking forward to welcoming Irish tourists to come join the party and see for themselves how easy it is to love New York.”
The 40 strong media and trade mingled with the delegation and experienced some heartfelt and honest hosting and conversations around all things New York State.
Congratulations to the team for finding a new gem of a location in Pen & Player on Dublin’s Harcourt Street and for serving up some top quality cocktails and delicious food.
It’s safe to say the Irish will always love New York!
