Junior Altas hold tryouts for NCAA Season 101 team

LAS PIÑAS CITY — Two weeks after being crowned champions of NCAA Season 100 juniors basketball tournament, University of Perpetual Help System Dalta opened its door for new recruits for next season's team.
The tryouts were held at the Home of the Altas gymnasium on Saturday.
More than 200 aspirants participated in the run through, each one wanting to be part of the team that will aim for back-to-back crowns next year."We hold this one-day only tryout hoping to get players to replace those left behind by graduating players Season and Finals MVP Lebron Jhames Daep, Jan Roluna, JD Pagulayan, Icee Callangan, TJ Tabbuan, Jericho Cristino, Kelsey Baldoria, Jacob dela Cruz and Aries Borja," Junior Altas coach Joph Cleopas said."For now there is no pool of players for the upcoming season, but the Grade 11 players like Lance Nitura, Kurt Velasquez, Louie Rosales, Jim Corpuz, Keanne Zanoria, Ezekiel Zamoras and Kurt Patalinghug are still there. We are hoping that someone will come or be recruited ready to play."
Cleopas will announce the results of the tryouts in the coming days.
