Kawhi Leonard Has Honest Admission About Playoffs

The opening round playoff series between the Los Angeles Clippers and Denver Nuggets has been full of intensity and high energy from the very first second.

On Monday night, the Clippers were able to even the series and now both teams have won a game.

If Game 2 seemed difficult, that’s because it was.

Speaking to the press following his team’s victory, Kawhi Leonard got honest about how tough the postseason is.

“Any NBA game is very hard to play, especially in the playoffs,” Leonard said, per NBA on X. “It might look easy by just watching us and seeing how skilled we are, but these games are hard to play. You’ve got to play every possession, every minute.”

Leonard knows what he is talking about, but he sure did make it look easy during Game 2.

He scored 39 points, three rebounds, five assists, and two steals, leading the whole game in points.

It was just the latest terrific performance from Leonard, who has looked like his vintage self for weeks now.

He is back in fine form at the perfect time, and the Clippers are benefiting from that.

But now they have the tough task of keeping it up.

The series is now tied at 1-1 and is headed back to Los Angeles, which means Leonard and his Clippers might be on the verge of pushing ahead and taking a lead in the days ahead.

Leonard says the playoffs are hard and no one understands how difficult they are.

But he is averaging 30.5 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 3.5 assists during the postseason so far so he is definitely make it look like he isn’t having a problem.
