Lady Tams charge to third straight win, stop Falcons
MANILA, Philippines — The FEU Lady Tamaraws faltered in the first set but dominated the Adamson Lady Falcons in the next three, 23-25, 25-15, 25-13, 25-10, to charge to their straight win in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament at the Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday.
Gerzel Petallo pumped 14 points, 15 receptions, and five digs for FEU which elevated to 4-2, good for the third spot in the team standings.
Jean Asis banged 14 points including five aces while Faida Bakanke notched 13 points and seven digs in the victory.
Shaina Nitura did all she could with 24 points, 13 receptions, and nine digs for Adamson which suffered its second straight loss to fall to 2-3, tied with UP in fifth place.
