Lady Tams get win run going, keep Warriors winless
MANILA, Philippines — The FEU Lady Tamaraws finally got a winning run going in the UAAP Season 87 women's volleyball tournament after keeping the UE Lady Warriors winless, 25-23, 25-19, 25-20, at the Mall of Asia Arena on Wednesday.
Gerzy Petallo logged 12 points, eight digs, and six receptions to lead FEU, which broke from a four-way tie with La Salle, Adamson, and UP to rise to 3-2.
Chen Tagaod banged 11 points and five digs while Mitzi Panagin and Aly Devosora racked up nine points each for the third running Lady Tams.
Khy Cepada pumped a 14-7-4 point-dig-reception game for the cellar-dwelling Lady Warriors who dropped to 0-5.
