Moneague FC win back-to-back games in St Ann Major League

ST ANN, Jamaica — Moneague FC made it two wins in a row after beating Higgin Town 2-0 in their St Ann Football Association Major League Zone B game played at Drax Hall on Sunday, taking over the lead in the points table.
The win saw Moneague FC improve to six points, three more than Lewis YC and Black Stars.
Both goals came in the second half, with Oshane Jarrett opening the scoring in the 62nd minute, while Kevin 'Kangaroo' Maine made it 2-0 in the 77th minute with his league-leading fourth goal of the season.
Last week, Lewis YC and King Football Academy won their first games of the season, beating Steer Town and defending champions Exchange United, respectively.
In the first game of the doubleheader, Ceejay Gibbs gave Lewis YC the lead in the 17th minute, but Blake Wilson equalised on the stroke of half-time, scoring in the 45th minute.
Lance Miller restored Lewis YC’s lead in the 49th minute, and Rojay Gibbs added a third goal when he scored in the 60th minute.
Keniel Brown scored the winning goal for King FA, last season’s Division 1 champions, to break a 1-1 scoreline in the second game.
Daniel Reid sent King FA into an early lead when he scored in the third.
