The event gathered over 100 professional distributors, providing a platform for the company to showcase its 2025 strategy, including cutting-edge product innovations and sustainable lighting solutions.
Versatile lighting solution for multiple segments
Speaking at a roundatable interview, Raghuraman Chandrasekhar, Country Leader for Professional Business at Signify Philippines, highlighted the company's focus on five key segments: public (local government units), infrastructure (stadiums, railways, transportation), office, retail, and hospitality.
"The new products we have are multi-segment focused. Each product category addresses specific needs — floodlights for outdoor spaces like streets and public areas, and panels commonly used in offices and hotels," Chandrasekhar explained.
The Philips SmartBright All-In range is designed with flexibility and efficiency in mind, addressing the needs of contractors, wholesalers, and end-users alike.
"With this portfolio, we want our partners to have lesser shelf space but maximize product sell-out. One product can cater to multiple user needs through multi-luminance, multiple wattage options, and varying color temperatures, allowing distributors to manage their stocks and inventory more efficiently."
Signify continues to push the boundaries of sustainability in lighting technology. Chandrasekhar emphasized two key aspects of sustainable lighting — energy efficiency and product lifespan.
"When I talk about sustainability, it's defined by two factors: energy efficiency and lifetime — meaning burning hours. These products last much longer, so consumers replace them less often."
