Vikings Territory works in partnership with PurplePTSD, similarly doing their utmost to put forth excellent Minnesota Vikings content. As a result, we promote what they have to offer in “The View from VT,” a weekly piece. Take a look at five of their articles from the past week.

The View from VT: February 22nd, 2025

1) Justin Jefferson Recruits 6-Time Pro Bowler for Vikings’ Roster: No doubt, adding Myles Garrett would be a ton of fun for the Vikings. The chances of it happening, though, are extremely low. There’s a team out there with more draft capital that will pry Garrett away from Cleveland.

2) A Vikings Trade Target Appears Too Good to be True: Would fill a major need. Toss in the fact that he’s still young, has great size, and a connection to Kwesi Adofo-Mensah. Oh, and he’s playing for a team that needs to make moves to get their finances in order. The GM should be working the phone.

3) One Team is Evidently Interested in Daniel Jones: Truth be told, the NFL is going to have a lot of interest in Daniel Jones. The simple facts are that he’s had an underwhelming career after being picked so high but he’s a still-young passer with great athleticism and size who was playing for a brutal team. Coaches around the league will believe they can resurrect his career.

4) A Vikings “Dream Trade” Has Been Identified: Does the GM have a bit of a reputation? Kwesi Adofo-Mensah, no doubt, likes to pull off trades. Recently, however, he has shown a bit more restraint, as evidenced by the declining amount of trades in his three drafts. Even still, keep an eye on potentially pulling off a trade in March (which is to say nothing of what might occur in late April).

5) ESPN Warns of “Seismic Shift” for Vikings: The current outlook suggests that J.J. McCarthy is going to be the one who gets the first shot at being Minnesota’s starter in 2025. These next several weeks, though, could entirely change our outlook. Bringing Sam Darnold back would make things very, very interesting.
