Trip.com Group honoured by Philippine Airlines

Trip.com Group received two awards from Philippine Airlines during the carrier's annual PAL Awards, including recognition as a top online travel agency partner.

The company earned both the Top Performer Award and the Chairman's Circle Club Award, which PAL gives to its leading sales partners across all channels.

Flight bookings through the Trip.com Philippines platform increased by more than 300 percent in 2024 compared to the previous year. Top outbound destinations included mainland China, Hong Kong, Thailand, Japan and South Korea.

With PAL resuming direct flights between Manila and Beijing, travel between China and the Philippines is expected to rise further. The airline also plans to launch new routes between Cebu and Ho Chi Minh City in May, followed by Manila to Da Nang in July.
