Turn Easter sweets into fun games

Chef Lovely Jiao, who established Sugarplum Pastries in 2011, encourages families and friends to elevate Easter celebrations with interactive season-inspired sweets.
With her latest collection dubbed 'SpEGGtacular, SpEGGtacular,' the creative baker throws the phrase "do not play with your food" — often warned by concerned parents — out the window.
The selection is headlined by the titular Speggtacular Chocolate Smashers, which take the form of the iconic Easter eggs. It comes with a trio of cookie paint — ideal for those who wish to unleash their inner artists. These adorable balls can add a whimsical twist to the traditional egg hunt, cracking open to reveal a delightful mix of assorted candies. Tip: Use the dainty wooden mallet to level up the fun.
A nod to the childhood game of tic-tac-toe, the Tic-Tac-Bunny-Hop introduces a more endearing take on the classic Noughts and Crosses. For the Sugarplum version, the board comes in the shape of adorable rabbit-shaped cookies, while an equally charming set of bite-sized egg-and-carrot-inspired cookies take the place of the game's usual Xs and Os.
The Cookie Hunt is both a toothsome treat and an engaging puzzle in one palm-sized goodie. This decadent dessert invites one to navigate an Easter cookie maze with a darling sprinkle ball before going for that big bite.
No Sugarplum holiday drop would be complete without chef Jiao's signature crowd favorite—cookie-do. For Easter, the Egg-Citing Kit features three sugar cookies shaped like bunnies and eggs, along with piping bags filled with blue, pink, and white frosting. It also includes three chocolate smash'em eggs, brimming with sprinkles and tiny trinkets for decoration.
