Tyler Warren Sends Message To Fans About Joining Colts

The Indianapolis Colts may have gotten the best value pick of the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft as they were able to select Penn State star tight end Tyler Warren at No. 14.

Warren was widely considered the best tight end prospect in the draft, but he wound up coming off the board second behind Colston Loveland, who went 10th overall to the Chicago Bears.

For Indianapolis, it worked out perfectly as Warren can step in and immediately be a threat in the pass game and shore up their blocking up front.

He’s not the fastest player on the field, but he has a knack for playing through contact and creating big plays after the catch.

After getting drafted, Warren had a message for Colts fans via the team’s official X account.

“What’s up, guys? Heading over to Indy now. Excited to be home and get to work. Let’s do it. Just the whole thing leading up to it, I felt like this would be a place I could call home. It’s fun to have everybody together and kind of all the help they’ve given me to get to this point. Feels like I’m home. It’s awesome,” Warren said.

From his comments, Warren sounds genuinely excited to play for Indianapolis and contribute right away as soon as the 2025 NFL season begins.

The team had arguably the worst tight end room last year, but by adding Warren, the Colts may have their long-term answer at the position.

It remains to be seen if Warren can live up to his potential, but he represents legitimate upside at the position that was previously lacking on the roster.
