Wesley ‘Callaloo’ Henry makes exciting return to Caymanas Park

After a lengthy break, former champion jockey Wesley ‘’Callaloo’’ Henry is set to make his highly anticipated return to competitive racing at Caymanas Park on Saturday. Henry, who has been plying his trade at Gulfstream Park in the United States, has secured four rides on the day.
Henry’s mounts include Amad Ali in the opening race for trainer Errol Subratie, Bowmore in the third event for trainer Phillip Lee, Brompton Boy in the fifth race for trainer Anthony Nunes, and Casual Peach in the ninth race for trainer Edward Walker. With his impressive track record, Henry is confident of delivering strong performances on the track.
With 767 winners under his belt locally, Henry occupies an impressive 11th position on the all-time jockey list based on winners. His international experience has also yielded remarkable results, with 209 winners, 246 seconds, and 273 thirds from 2,744 mounts, earning him a staggering US$3,907,060.
Recently, Henry has been riding successfully at Gulfstream Park, with two winners from 25 rides this year. His experience and skill will undoubtedly be an asset to his trainers and owners on Saturday.
