Zonta International leads awareness campaign against gender-based violence

As part of its advocacy, Zonta International declares a firm stance: No to Violence Against Women.

Zonta International, led by Area 5, District 17, launched a campaign to raise awareness through various activities.

Area 5 Director Susan Lim opened the event by welcoming guests and acknowledging dignitaries. Vice Mayor Yul Servo Nieto delivered an inspirational message, emphasizing that violence has no place in any family or organization.

Guest speaker Cecile Oebanda Pacos shared insights on the fight for freedom, while Senator Leila de Lima reflected on the horrors of women's rights abuses. She underscored the importance of hope and unity in the ongoing fight against such injustices.
